The diamond powder, dry plants, crystals, coil, and other nature elements are mixed with the resin, and create the microcosmos on the palm. The jacket photo of single “snow light sleep” is based on the photo of the art piece.

As the sound artist, sawako is dealing with time & space as the medium which we can’t see and touch. (We can feel sound with our skins, but sound constantly changing the shape like liquid.) This new work is the trial of materialization of the locus of time flow in our nature world. The work is also following her previous computing visual works which is dealing with the theme of time and locus, motions on the earth, 2D and 3D etc. For the future works, she is now experimenting with the different materials and trying to create something bigger. This is the seed for future.

「snow light crystal」は、光・色・音・暦・自然・地球・宇宙. . . 様々な波に包まれ共振しながら結晶化したお守りです。ダイアモンドパウダー・水晶・植物・鉱石の粉・コイルなどをレジンに閉じ込めた、手のひらの中の小さな宇宙。未来への種。シングル「snow light sleep」のジャケットは、「snow light crystal」の写真が元になってます。

小さくてキラキラしたものに魅了され、自然界のいろんな流れの軌跡を物質として形にしたいな、と思ってつくりはじめたシリーズです。普段は音という目に見えない・手に触れられない（肌で感じることはできるけど、液体や砂みたいにさらさら常に変容していく）メディアを使って時空間軸を扱っているのですが、以前制作していたコンピューティング・ビジュアル作品（自然現象、時間と軌跡、２Dと３Dなどがテーマ）の延長線上の立体物です。今後は、大きいサイズや様々な素材に展開させていきたいな、と色々実験中です。
